My Favorite Things: Summer Edition

We just spent a week with all of our camping gear and there were several things I kept saying I loved so I thought I would make a list. These are in no particular order.IMG_0341

Our pop up camper. (I also love my 4Runner.) I was excited when we purchased it but I love it more each time we camp in it. If you have been contemplating purchasing a popup, I say go for it!

My Chaco sandals. I’m a recent Chaco convert and I’m not going back. I even altered my wardrobe so that I can wear my Chacos all the time.  I love that I can wear them everywhere. Hiking, in the water, lounging around camp, and even in the shower.  They are worth every penny.

My Teton Sports day pack.  My last hiking backpack did not have a hydration pack so I had to carry water bottles. After many years of holding water bottles, the elastic on the cup holders lost its elasticity and the bottles fall out at random. After hearing lots of good things about Teton Sports I decided to give them a try and could not be more thrilled. I wore my pack pretty much the entire week. Both hiking and in town. We own several of the more well known brand day packs and Teton Sports definitely gives them a run for the money. Great quality, tons of functionality, and a much better price point. Next time I am in need of gear I’ll likely try something else from Teton Sports.

Our Coleman Roadtrip Grill. It’s heavy and takes up space but I love this grill. It makes cooking so easy. We have multiple burner attachments and it’s just awesome. We don’t leave home without it.

Lastly, Love Muffin Cafe in Moab, AZ. I have several dietary restrictions and have not eaten breakfast out in years. It just so happens that Love Muffin Cafe has gluten free, vegan waffles. What?!?!  For real, it was like Christmas morning. I was a giddy little girl. If Moab were a little cooler I might convince The Husband that we need a long weekend in Moab so that I can eat waffles for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Maybe we’ll spend Christmas in Moab. 🙂
